Hotel Federwerk

You can tell whoever put this place together cares a great deal about their hotel. It is well-maintained, beautiful, and an absolute gem in the black forest. We have stayed at quite a few places since arriving in Germany and this has by far been our most favorite. We were greeted kindly upon checking in and every time we interacted with anyone, the breakfast was also great and the rooms were very nice. All around an incredible hotel with an awesome view of the surrounding town.

Nice and big rooms. I sat at the restaurant/bar area for over an hour one evening and nobody came over to check if I wanted anything to drink. My colleague had to walk over to the bar to order. Not the service I'm used to.

The Hotel has a great location, but you cant expect like Triberg or something like that. This Hotel needs a drastic improvements in their Services. We stayed in this hotel for 3Nights, and interestingly we didn’t even have water bottles on our last day. It was super difficult to arrange a bottle as it was Easter weekend. There are not many Options in the Breakfast, Chef makes a pathetic Omlettes and Scrambled Eggs. If you want to have fresh Juice, You have to keep asking them for fresh fruits Apples etc. again and again. In the Crowd of 30-35 people, You would find one Bowl of 1sliced Apple. I guess, Hotel expects you to drink it with Spoon. Unbelievable. Likewise, RoofTop opens Only till 20:00PM. When it will be Opened, and when it will be closed - No. body knows. Like wise the Restaurants has the same situation. I travelled there with family and Kids. Overall, I would say I am NOT satisfied.
