Hotel Flamingo

Hotel Flamingo gave to me a big surprise. The room was big, clean and comfortable. 2 toilet seats, 1 bath tub and 1 separate shower. Pool area is good to children with playground, seats and many different pools. I will recommend this hotel to family customers.

Decent but a little dated rooms, nice staff. Luckily the poolarea at the adjacent Flamingo Grand is accessible if you stay here. Very easy to find sunbeds.

The rooms, balcony, especially the bathroom were very dirty. The bathroom had brown liquid marks out and in the toilet seat, the shower place was covered with lime scale and was also stinky, the floor stinked. The side elevators were very filty, there was dust and even mud inside which remained there for a week. Even the windows were dirty. My child got sick and trew up near the pool and the vomit dried and remained there until we left the hotel 3 days later. The pool had green dirt near the edges. Drops and spots at the coffe machine were never cleaned, they just accumulated for the week we spent at the hotel. Bed sheets were clean. Random storage rooms and staff elevators were not marked "staff only" so you can get there by accident. Staff does not know what common sense is. Don't expect an adequate help. Over a month expired milk was sold to us from the hotel supermarket and our children were very sick as a result. If you don't speak Bulgarian you will not understant how fed up staff is and how much they dislike tourists. You could still get it by the tone and guestures though. I would not go back.
