Absolutely gorgeous hotel in Brussels. This hotel was previously a bank in the 1850's and has been renovated into this beautiful boutique hotel. The staff was amazing and helpful from beginning to end. The hotel has a neat Asian French restaurant. We had a delicious meal with absolutely the friendliest staff. It's best to have reservations, but they were very accommodating. Overall this was one of the best hotels were stayed at on her vacation to France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
The room’s comfort level was fantastic, very spacious, and uniquely designed, providing a truly enjoyable experience. The service quality was outstanding, with all staff members being extremely polite and warm, always greeting us with genuine smiles. The hotel’s service was genuinely impressive. After arriving and resting in our room, we enjoyed the complimentary water and snacks provided. When we returned after dinner, the staff had thoughtfully replenished our room with two bottles of distilled water, additional snacks, and even left a handwritten welcome card, which was a delightful and unexpected surprise. The shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap were all branded products, giving a luxurious and high-end feel. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient, situated close to the bustling city center.
I loved all the small details. I REALLY appreciated that I could cast from my phone to the tv! Well done on the tech. The receptionist was lovely, he walked us to our room and left a sweet note for us. As well providing solid recommendations for food and activities. The bar had a nice selection and it was very relaxing to have a night cap in the sitting area, at any time. The decorations and lighting in the hallways were interesting and tasteful. The stylish bar cart for beverages in the room nicely matched the art deco of the bathroom (big high five for having the shower controls off set so I can reach it without getting doused with water!). I really enjoyed the whimsy of the door sign sayings for both ‘don’t disturb’ and ‘please clean’. The best hotel I’ve stayed at in years! What a wonderful change from where I live in Italy, lol.
