Hotel Florida

Friendly and proficient staff at entrance. Rooms are extremely dated. Trim falling off most things. Aircons are ancient. Staff should inform you if you aren't going to get a street view. I was right above the extremely noisy hvac units. Beds were okay. Sheets were fresh everyday and the room service was considerate. my shower was terrible. Variable heat but the tap stays at the same place. Also no proper shower head. Cables for the lights were covered in sticky filth. I wouldn't be back, but good on a budget because of its location.

The hotel is in a very good location, making it convenient for exploring Lisbon. The room was spacious and clean, which we appreciated. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. Firstly, the bathroom lacks a proper shower recess – the shower is inside a high-sided bathtub. This setup can be hazardous, especially for elderly guests, as stepping in and out feels unsafe. Secondly, the TV in the room wasn't working. We reported it twice and waited over 30 minutes for staff to check, but even after three days, it remained unresolved. Disappointingly, the option to change rooms was only offered on the third day, despite us flagging the issue on our first day. This delay was frustrating and suggested a lack of urgency. Lastly, we found the staff not particularly friendly or proactive, which affected the overall experience. In summary, while the hotel has potential with its location and room quality, the service and facilities need improvement.

Stayed here very recently but it’s definitely not a 4* more like a 3. The room was tiny, no plug sockets anywhere so we had to ask for an extension lead. It wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been. There was no proper lighting only red/orangey lights which were awful. The bathroom wasn’t great at all, no light above the shower, floor was dirty and just very tatty looking. The wardrobe had a sliding mirror which was practically broken, couldn’t use the safe. We also asked the reception for a taxi for 6 people but unfortunately the one that arrived was for 4. I didn’t enjoy the stay here and wouldn't recommend.
