Hotel Fontana

I had my first Ayurveda treatment at the Fontana Hotel. That's why I don't have the opportunity to compare, of course, but: various soothing professional massages, treatments and yoga classes, excellent tasting Ayurvedic diet food, always very friendly staff, extremely clean rooms with 2 clean bathrobes every day and not to forget: diagnosis and checks by an extremely empathetic and competent Ayurvedic doctor allow me to give the highest compliment of a satisfied guest: I will come back! We aren't their usual customers... two ladies around 35 and it's not for us. It's all very spacious, but also very outdated in terms of design and age of the furniture. No hotel bar. Only one receptionist and she's apparently also in charge of breakfast. I felt a bit sorry for her. No fridge or mini bar in the rooms. Which should be standard for a 4-star hotel? All in all a bit underwhelming for 136 € per night

I would like to objectively review my stay at this 4-star hotel. Location: Quiet and central. Room: Very old-fashioned but clean and mostly okay. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning. Sauna: This is the nicest area in the hotel. Restaurant: The breakfast shocked us. How can a 4-star hotel offer such a high-quality breakfast? Staff: The staff is courteous and very friendly. However, I don't understand why the man at the reception has to work in the kitchen? There was only one person who did everything!! It would be nice if there were more staff available to assist guests. My mother is actually very enthusiastic about Ayovida, but after her stay at this hotel, she's no longer sure if it's the right place for her.
