Hotel Freiburg

Stayed here a few years ago and the owner followed us around everywhere we went. Very creepy. We could have stayed anywhere we wanted as our family is from the area. We chose this place bc it has a nice pool with a nice view. The owner told us not to get in and out of the pool bc we are wasting water. Imagine that. The breakfast was mediocre. We were forced to move our cars multiple times at random hours bc the Parking garage had limited space. The building is definitely not up to code in that aspect. One day we woke up to him in our living drinking coffee. Very awkward.

I'll start with the positives - a beautiful view of the sea, the room is the same as in the photo on the Booking, towels are changed every day, the staff knows English. That's all. The owner of the hotel is a very rude person, a person who does not know how to communicate with the guests of his own hotel. For staying in a hotel, you must pay extra for a dog, keep in mind. Breakfast is included in the price of the room, but you have to pay for coffee separately. Had a problem with the shower, every day the staff came to fix it, but the water was still everywhere. Because of the unpleasant situation with an owner of the hotel I sincerely DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Unfortunately can’t leave a feedback on Booking because the hotel cancelled our reservation , although we did our best to resolve the issue . But there was not a pleasant feeling after resting in this hotel.

Hotel House Freiburg highly NOT recommended to anybody . Not working shower ( read lower an answer of the hotel on our first feedback ) - they blamed our dog for the malfunction, which we never bathed in the shower. The table on which the TV stands is dangerous! It fell on our children along with the TV, the TV was damaged, we immediately reported it and emphasized that we would pay for the damage. You are insolent, you bought a new TV with a larger diagonal, claiming that the old and new have the same dimensions and demanded money from us for a new TV, the cost of which is much higher than the TV that the children damaged (I emphasize - the TV stand fell on the children). For two days you could not solve the question and answer us - what was the cost of the broken TV and its diagonal. After which, finally, your master reported that we damaged the TV with a diagonal of 43, and you demanded from us to pay for a new TV with a diagonal of 50. You admitted your mistake, wrote us a check that we paid for the damage. BUT . After that, the owner of the hotel shouted at us and rushed. And the hotel immediately canceled our stay at the hotel. And now, in general, on Booking, you want a full payment again, because we did not come to you. Are you ok there ? You think it’s normal ? We need compensation for the canceled reservation!
