Hotel Gabriela

We had a wonderful ski-holiday of two weeks in January in Serfaus, enjoying the stay in Hotel Gabriela. We loved everything: the location, staff, food and comfort. I warmly recommend the Juniorsuite, as it has the best view on the mountains and slopes and has a generous balcony. We already booked a similar room for next year!

Made a booking the same day as arrival. 30 minutes before. Had driven long way with small kids. Chose the hotell since it was one of few who accepted bookings at that hour. (21) when we arrived we found out that the reception closed 17. A restaurant worker helped us contact the owner, and after a stressful 45 minutes we at least got a room. The room was not prepared for guests and there was no bedding for our daughters. The fridge was not working and all food and medicine we brought was ruined. (Fridge on the room is a criteria we always chose since we have medicine). We slept almost nothing and in the morning they had the rudeness to ask for more money since they in their mind gave us a larger room. But for us it was for no use since the bed was not made and the girls slept in the king size bed and we taking turns. They refused to take any responsibility due to the fact that they approved and accepted reservation that they could not fulfill if it wasn’t that a nice restaurant worker in the bar next door chose to help us. Be aware!!!

We had a reservation for the restaurant MONTHS in advance, and we had pre-ordered the cheese fondue, when we arrive at the restaurant they say they had a “glitch” in the system and there was no cheese fondue for us. Then we would at least expect some compensation but they didn’t give us anything. Even though it was their fault. Furthermore the service was really really bad, they were not friendly at all. Especially the red haired woman was awful. I would not recommend coming here!!!
