Hotel Gabrielli

We have stayed at the Gabrielli three times and have always enjoyed it. The newly configured lounge, dining and restaurant area now offers a much more spacious and enjoyable dining experience. The people have always been most helpful, especially on late arrival from the airport, thank you to all for your assistance and hard work. The rooftop garden and sun loungers make this a really great place to view the panorama of the Lagoon and Riva degli Schiavoni. It may seem a little hectic outside during the day as boats arrive and depart, never fear, it all quietens down after 5:00 pm when you can enjoy the true ambience of Venice in the evening.

Fantastic family run hotel the staff were really friendly and attentive. The room was beautifully styled and clean. Breakfast was a classical European style. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Great location not too far away from main attractions, yet just far away for a peaceful stay coupled with fantastic views of the lagoon.

Wonderful hotel! Nice location on the grand canal and the views from the rooftop bar are amazing! Highly recommend a water taxi from the train station as the walk includes so many bridges without ramps for rolling luggage (the distance is not so bad without luggage, but the up and down with several bags got old). Great place to stay and explore the city!
