Hotel Galileo

The hotel is in the perfect location for a business trip, next to the Champs Elysees and La Defense. A very charming hotel with cosy rooms, including a nice workplace. The hosting team is very pleasant. I have stayed here several times before and will definitely return.

Front of house staff member was friendly and helpful. Gave us relevant advice and helpful in organising a taxi. The room was of a good size for Paris. Location to Champ Elysses is excellent. Close to Metro to access tourist spots. On the down side our toiletries needed refilling as some were not replenished on second day. Water was also not replenished on second day. When we left the hotel, having consumed absolutely nothing from the mini bar, we received an email with an invoice saying we needed to pay for a KitKat 3Euro. This was disappointing as we had not consumed anything from the minibar. It was unfortunate that they sent us the email as we would have only had positive comments regarding this hotel even though some provisions were not replenished, we would not have complained. It is also unfortunate also as the lovely lady at the desk so so very pleasant.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. I booked 3 nights in their largest room, but it was still small and cramped. The bathroom was around 1.5 x 2 meters — very tight and uncomfortable. The floor was covered with dark carpet that clearly showed dirt, and overall cleanliness was poor. The elevator felt old and unsafe, and the price was extremely high for the quality offered. Honestly, this hotel doesn’t deserve more than 2 stars. I would not recommend it at all.
