Hotel Garden Beach

Rooms were nice, although our Aircon didn't work, was told system was changing over from 23rd May but nothing changed, it was blowing out air which I'm fairly confident was hotter than the outside temp, was always colder outside the room than inside. Showers were extremely powerful, great water pressure. Pool is very nice and hotel in general is lovely. Was very quiet when we went, never saw more than 3 or 4 groups of people around the main pool at any one time. I recommend anyone to simply hire a car, as getting to and from the airport by public means is double the cost or more than just hiring a car for the duration of most trips. We only stayed 4 days so was cheaper for us to hire a car for £100 than pay £130 each way for travel. Plus we then had the freedom to go wherever we wanted. The hotel has a nice car park that's free to use.

Rooms were simple, a good size, and very clean. Powerful shower! Excellent air con. Looked like they’d been decorated recently. Lovely pool area and the beach was perfect - just a few minutes away from the rooms! Staff were very friendly. Really good drinks/cocktails at the bar. Particularly good aperol spritz and gin and tonic! Beach bar food was basic. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was pretty good. Quite a big selection for dinner. Surrounding garden area was beautiful. 5 star for location. All in all, a good hotel, reflective of its name! I’d recommend and stay here again.

Lovely beach and fab pools. Gardens are beautiful. However the location is somewhat remote and the season doesn't start until June for adequate bus service so you really need a car to get about. We travelled with Love Holidays and they didn't explain how far away it was from Cagliari. Taxis are very expensive. Excursions only run if enough people wish to go and these are also pricey. The food at the hotel was inconsistent quality wise especially breakfast. One minute there was loads of choice for evening meal in buffet restaurant then hardly anything another night and this wasnt anything to do with what time you chose to go it was just what was being offered. This isnt what i expect from a 4 star hotel. The villas are rather small but the cleaners are efficient and changed our towels made thr beds and cleaned room daily.
