Stayed for a week while visiting family. Everyone on staff—reception, restaurant, lifeguard—was so charming and kind. The room was a bit cozy but had a lovely view (even saw fireworks from the balcony one night). The hotel’s beach was right across the street and just a few minutes away from the restaurants and shops.
Our short stay was fairly enjoyable at this quiet, kid friendly hotel. Below I'll list the positives and negatives of our stay: Positives: - Employees: I can't stress enough how my family and I absolutely loved Elena and Erika from helping us warm our newborns food to a normal conversation. It truly made us feel welcomed and my baby loved them both! - Location: Very close to the sea as well as the city center being within walking distance to anything to your liking. If not, bikes can be obtained through the hotel. - Private Pool: We had used this during our stay due to the unpredictable sea. This was perfect for our newborn to introduce water in a calm setting as well there being patches of the pool in the shade to prevent him from getting too much sun. Negatives: - Dirty Pool: Unfortunately we ran into the issue with the pool being dirty with dead insects and leaves. After informing the staff, it took them a bit of time to react to the situation resulting in a hotel stayer to grab a nearby bucket to clean it himself. It wasn't until after it was cleaned that someone from the beach came with a net to clean it. Would recommend to have this checked/cleaned each morning. Room Cleanliness: Though the room was fairly cleaned, my wife and I had found hair ties and razer caps in the bathroom along with a lighter in our room. Would recommend a thorough look in the rooms. Parking: Having extra costs for the parking while paying on top of the cost of the stay is excessive in my opinion. Perhaps a one time parking fee versus 20 EUR per day. Overall, I would return without complaint and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.
This hotel needs a thorough renewal. It's very 90's vibe, and the rooms clearly shows plenty signs of use and decor that looks very outdated. Biggest disappointment was that air-conditioning didn't work, and the bathroom had a foul smell. The staff was fine, and breakfast was suppringsingly good and varied.
