Hotel Garni Altes Brauhaus

The hotel is in a very good location in the center. Our stay was 26.04-27.04.2025. There is parking. The rooms are nice, clean. The breakfast is also very good. One receptionist is quite rude. The next day, there was another one, she was very kind, she allowed us to leave the city for another 2 hours to explore it. Very romantic and old city, if I had the chance I would stay for another 3-4 days, one goes back in time. I would visit it during Christmas, I guess it would be magnificent....so many beautiful houses, shops and kind people.

I had a wonderful stay here. The room and bathroom are spacious. It was well heated and very clean. Staff are very friendly. The breakfast was one of the best I've had do far during my travels around Germany due to variety and quality. The location is great as it's a few minutes walk to the town center. I'd definitely stay here again!

Staff were friendly on arrival and were able to provide us with secure underground parking which was a must during our journey. The room was spacious, perhaps slightly outdated but clean nonetheless - with a good bath too. Breakfast was great - despite the fact we got to our table 30 mins before it ended, the member of staff still ensured we had freshly cooked eggs and didn't rush us. Really great service Great value stay - only thing I'd want next time is aircon Location - fantastic, everything is within 30 seconds walk.
