Hotel Garni Landhaus Sonnenstern

We had an exceptional three night stay at Landhaus Sonnenstern. The hotel was spotless, and our room was immaculate, exceeding our expectations. The bed was very comfortable. The spacious bathroom provided all necessary amenities. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The staff was welcoming and provided helpful local recommendations. We highly recommend this hotel.

Staying at Landhaus Sonnenstern is THE highlight of our family trip turning it into an unforgettable experience. Every day after exploring the surrounding beautiful nature and towns we were looking forward to coming back to our temporary home where we felt very much welcomed. We loved it so much that extended our stay and changed some plans to have more time to enjoy. This hotel is run professionally yet wholeheartedly, with care and personal touch by Kristoff and his wife. It's newly renovated, filled with light and spacious. We first stayed in a double room and then moved to the apartment and both were super comfortable, spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and with amazing views. All the amenities are of high quality. The breakfast is fresh, healthy and delicious, the outside sitting area is very nice 🤍 For anyone who likes comfort and being close to the nature, to have a nice getaway in a calm, beautiful Bavarian town, this place is a gem. Schönau am Königssee is a very cute town, there are many nice restaurants , small beer gardens, cafes all in waking distance from the hotel. It's a 25 min walk away from the lake - beautiful walk. The air in this town is something else. Thank you Kristoff for everything, I hope to visit you soon again.

Wonderful hotel to stay from every aspects! A young couple operates this hotel. Room is clean and spacious. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! Service is excellent. We feel so warm welcome and receive clear explanations with everything! The breakfast next morning is simple but with good quality selections. If we are coming here again, I will book this hotel again for sure! Highly recommend to everyone!
