Hotel Garzon Plaza

It is a nice hotel in Győr city, close to the highway. It is very good for transit; rooms are large and clean, with nice furniture and comfortable beds. It also has private and safe parking for €6.50/night.

The mattress was too saggy. The kettle was leaking (dangerous), the toilet fan didn't work, and the air conditioning was almost non-functional (room 2189). The hotel doesn't have a restaurant at all! The swimming pool and whirlpool are available for a maximum of four people at limited times. If four people occupy it for hours, there's no chance of using it.

The superior room is directly facing the speaker of a McDrive. It wouldn't normally be a problem, but during our stay, the room was really hot and the AC didn't work (was only blowing room temperature air, not cold air). So in order to make the temperature in the room better, we had to keep the window open and listen to people's McDonald's orders all night. It was really not a "superior" experience, as I'd imagine that the more expensive rooms would be facing the yard, or at least be on a higher floor. Otherwise everything was really perfect, but when you can't get good sleep, it ruins the whole experience. The room was really spacious with comfortable beds, armchair and enough storage space. The bathroom had great shower. The whole room was perfectly clean. The staff at the reception was very welcoming.
