Hotel Genio

First time in Rome. This seems to be a really nice small hotel. Front desk staff (especially Spiro) are knowledgeable and have suggestions for sites to see, planned routes, good local restaurants, etc. The location near Piazza Navona is centrally located for most of the standard tourist sites. Rooms are large enough for a couple like us traveling. Housekeeping is friendly and efficient. The breakfast this morning was varied and plentiful. The rooftop terrace has great views. The only possible knock might be that our shower would be improved with a more powerful spray. Pretty minor complaint given some other places we've stayed at over the years.

Unbeatable location! The staff was so helpful and fun!! Marco, Spiro, and crew are simply the best!!! I refuse to stay in any other hotel in Rome. In fact, I wish the Hotel Genio experience could travel with me wherever I vacation.

The people at reception were so nice and friendly and always so helpful. The hotel was in a great location. Walked to so many places and the bus was steps away to get to the Vatican and other places too far to walk. There was some noises not sure if it was the pipes but it sounded like drilling. Also a bit of a smell like cleaning products. Room was decent size and your typical European size room. Great views from the rooftop. Breakfast was served on the 6th floor with great views.
