Super comfortable hotel with great staff - professional but calm / relaxed and accommodating. Makes you feel at home. The hotel is also found in a great location next to the Geysir but manages to keep a relaxed vibe and it is very quiet and pleasant at night. The breakfast is also nice, with a good selection and variety.
Stopped in for a lunch after viewing the geysers from across the street. Didn’t expect such a nice dining experience. The food was nicely prepared and flavors good. Much better than expected in a fairly remote area.
Excellent hotel with a very nice restaurant that serves good drinks, good food and wine. We stayed for two nights that included a very nice breakfast with a large selection. Good location next to the Geyser and a very short drive to Gullfoss.
