Hotel Giardinetto

Absolutely outstanding experience at the restaurant of Albergo Giardinetto in Garda! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food is simply amazing — beautifully presented and full of flavor. I highly recommend the sea-crusted sea bass, which was perfectly cooked and bursting with freshness. For dessert, don’t miss the parfait — a delightful finish to an exquisite meal. The service is top-notch. The staff are not only polite but also genuinely informed about the menu and wine pairings, which added so much to the overall dining experience. The location is lovely too, offering a charming and relaxing atmosphere that perfectly complements the quality of the cuisine. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal in Garda. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We absolutely loved this hotel. Intimate, luxurious with fantastic amenities, friendly and welcoming staff, wonderful breakfast included and views of the lake to die for. The rooftop is something very special and the sunsets from here were spectacular. We loved the clean, comfortable room, and when you open the windows you can hear the festivities on the street below. Super comfortable beds and right in the middle of everything.

We stayed here for three nights and found the quality of the customer service absolutely awful. When we arrived we were told our room would be ready by 2pm. They weren’t ready until 4pm. My husband looked at the roof top jacuzzi and it was green. We visited during the height of summer (late June) and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Upon this they then shut the jacuzzi, a key amenity that they offer. The rooftop area was shut one day at 2pm, very early, without any notice or for any known reason. Our air con failed on the second day. We reported this asap to the receptionist who confirmed there was an issue upon inspection. However, we were told that they wouldn’t be able to get it repaired due to it being a Sunday and no one being available. We were offered no other solution, even though it was 33 degrees. We were told this was escalated to the manager and colleague on call the following day. The next day, we spoke to the receptionist and asked for compensation due to multiple issues. We were told we were lying about the air con issue and this was not the case. Despite her colleague taking photos and apparently reporting it. When asked for compensation we were told that under no circumstances are refunds ever made available, no matter what the issue. We were provided with no apology and overall, the attitude of the staff was appalling. We were made to feel like a nuisance rather than treated like paying customers. The breakfast was minimal choice. The food/drinks are extremely over priced in comparison to neighbouring properties. Upon escalation of our issues when we have returned home they have continued to deny any fault or issues. I would never recommend this property to anyone.
