Hotel Golden Palace

Year 2025 Location Central Price 3$+ Is a 5 star hotel so the expectations are different. The staff is friendly overall, polite, patient and welcomes you with a smile. You can ask any question, ask for something extra and they will try to help. The lobby is spacious and there is a touch of luxury but there is not a proper designers touch. There are some quiet corners where is possible to eat a snack and enjoy a drink. People must not be allowed to smoke inside though. The music seems to be on loop and sometimes to loud and it just does not fit the place, surely they can do better in music selection. The service is quick, the staff comes right away, if for some reason they have not noticed you while you entered there is an electronic ring at the table that says press to call them. Funny, yes it works. Thank you for the service.

After staying in several hotels during our Balkan tour, we finally came across a quality one. The rooms were clean, and all the staff were helpful (specially Tina) and friendly from the moment we arrived. I had the best vegetable soup I’ve ever tasted at this hotel. The trileçe dessert was amazing. The location is excellent. I definitely recommend it.

The food was delicious, and every staff member we encountered—from the front desk to the restaurant and parking—was kind, helpful, and professional. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Shkoder!
