Hotel Golden Park Campinas Cambuí By Nacional Inn

Clean hotel, conveniently located downtown, friendly courteous staff, gym with pool and sauna, and an excellent fresh breakfast with a chef who will prepare you perfect French omelettes. My wife and I enjoyed our visit.

This hotel is not a 4 star hotel as advertised. For handicapped people there is no ramp to enter the hotel. There are only stairs. We stayed in 2 different rooms. . There is a mini refrigerator but it was empty. You have to bring your own drinks and snacks. There were no irons or ironin boards. . The wi-fi was not always working. Most of the staff does not speak English but they were all very nice and helpful. The staff in the brrakfast room did not always refill items that were finished. The television in the room had only Brazilian stations in Portuguese. Nothing in Englisg. I would give this hotel a 3 star rating.

This hotel is currently under renovation, so it is kind of dusty and noisy. There was a single employee working both at the parking lot and the reception desk when I arrived, so check-in was a slow process. Rooms are good sized, but dark and outdated. Bathroom sink faucets where leaking, and the round handles meant they were very difficult to operate with wet soapy hands. The ceiling in the bathroom was dark, with visible electrical wiring and very dusty features. I would recommend to wait for the renovation to see how significant are the improvements, because for now it's not a pleasant place to stay.
