Hotel Goldener Hirsch A Luxury Collection Hotel Salzburg

Oh my gosh, what a magnificent place this is! This hotel has been around for centuries, and it oozes history in every pore. We were upgraded to a lovely suite. The staff was very open and friendly, and we had no problem communicating with one another one would expect in most German speaking countries. They even put up with my bad German. Our breakfast was tremendous, and I can’t complain about a single thing during our visit. If you love good service and a good hotel in the absolute heart of town this is the place for you.

Our first trip to Salzburg was made even more special by the incredible hospitality and beautiful room at the Hotel Goldener Hirsch. The staff were possibly the best, most genuinely warm and gracious of any hotel we have stayed at. The decor is traditional Austrian with a luxurious bent. Our room had all of the amenities we needed to settle in and relax (including AC!). You feel comfortable and home immediately. Throughout our stay, from check-in, until check-out we felt so well-cared for by everyone in the hotel. Our dinner in the restaurant was exquisite and delicious. It was a joy to stay here, and we will definitely return on our next trip to Salzburg.

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The staff was incredible. For example, I left my airpods in my room, and the staff offered to ship them back to me in the US, and did so promptly. My 2 young kids were greeted with toys and warm smiles at check in and throughout the stay. The morning breakfast staff went above and beyond accomodating my little kids and the "fun" they had at each meal with no issues of the mess they made and foods they asked for from the kitchen. We will definitely be back. thank you to the team/staff.
