Excellent central city hotel, as a result rather expensive. The young lady on reception was immensely helpful and our room was comfortable, spacious and clean. It was a great base for seeing the city.
First night impressions...elderly clerk seems less than inviting. Wanted to charge ,90 for coffee pods for the room. Building in and out has an outdated charm, like an old lady wearing out her fine clothes from her youth. Hotel seems desolate and depressing with a hint of past charm.
Unfortunately I had a very disappointing experience in hotel Goya. I found the hotel on the internet by filtering for pet friendly... Only after I booked the hotel did I find out that the actual charge for my little dog was a staggering 35€/night, almost half as the room rate itself. Having paid that large amount I was expecting the hotel to supply some amenities to my dog such as a dog bed or a water bowl. However, that wasn't the case... On top of that, the room was tired looking, had a smell to it and malfunctioned AC... Overall a disappointing experience.
