Hotel Grand Jasná

We stayed in a room with balcony with a nice view of the gondola and mountains. The hotel location is perfect. The service was excellent and the front office manager Daska and her team were wonderful and very accommodating, especially since we travelled with our pet. The indoor and outdoor wellness facilities were also great and the spa attendant Ivana was very welcoming. We also enjoyed the restaurant and bar during our stay.

One of a few ski-in, ski-out hotels, right at the slopes of the biggest skiing area in Slovakia, Jasna. Very good 4-star standard, rooms are not very spacious but beautifully furnished and really nice. The kitchen is very tasty and a wide variety of food is offered. Place is suited for families with small kids, so the place is really lively. The hotel also has a nice spa area. The hotel is not one of the cheapest ones, but it is definitely of excellent value for price. Especially for keen skiers.

We rented our skis from the hotel’s rental shop, and while most of the staff were friendly and helpful, our experience was overshadowed by one employee, Lukas. He was extremely rude and unprofessional, making the process unnecessarily unpleasant. To make matters worse, he failed to properly adjust one of our skis, forcing us to search for a screwdriver on the slopes to fix it ourselves.
