Hotel Grand Pacific

During our recent stop over of two days in Singapore, my husband and I enjoyed and great stay at the Grand Pacific Hotel. After a long international flight, we were impressed by the efficiency of the check in process and the friendly and knowledgeable assistance provided by Velu. With little time and much to see, he was outstanding in advising and providing local knowledge to enhance our experience . We were very grateful. The position of the hotel is excellent being central and close to the large Bogus shopping centre. Rooms were spacious, clean and functional. We would highly recommend this hotel.

My favorite part of this hotel is its location! It’s conveniently situated near Bugis, numerous bus stops, and even a 7-Eleven right beside it. :) On our first room, the air conditioner wasn’t working properly. Fortunately, the hotel promptly switched us to a better room with a functioning AC.

I stayed in room 1114 and the experience is poor. The staff are very lazy. There have been frequent creepy noises in the room and I don’t know where this is coming from, but it’s just unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. This is why you should read the reviews of others before choosing a room and you should make sure kids can tolerate creepy noises. I called the staff via the room telephone 3+ times but still no answer. Update (August 10, 2025) - I have realised that it was the elevator that was making the scary noise. So don’t choose a room that is __14. If you do, try to ask the staff to change your room.
