Hotel Grand Plaza Corferias

The Hotel Grand Plaza is a very nice hotel with modern accommodations near the airport. F you need to lay over and don’t want to go into Bogota (the traffic can be unbelievable) then this is a good spot. It has everything a modern travel needs and if you are off to the wilds of Colombia or coming back, it’s a nice spot to rest and relax and get cleaned up. It also has a restaurants that has good food and good prices. The beer selection is limited but you will find that at most hotels in Colombia.

There are better choices for the money. The breakfast was bad. They had no conditioner in the bathroom. No hair dryer. No glasses to drink water in the room. The restaurant didn’t have ice. The mini fridge was broken. And they made me pay but would not provide me with a receipt upon checkout. They said it would be emailed but 12 hours later and I still don’t have it.

terrible service, the website stated the breakfast was included, and it was mentioned when I checked in, but when i went downstairs to eat I was told my room didn’t include breakfast, so make sure it’s included if it’s important for you. Also, somebody knocks on your doors every morning to check the fridge and the snacks, why won’t they do it when housekeeping cleans the room ? I was sleeping and I told her to come back later and but insisted. Avoid this hotel ..
