An incredible gem of a hotel. Location is central, walkable to the Acropolis and many convenient shopping areas. Their rooftop restaurant has a beautiful view of the Acropolis, and the variety and quality of the food served is fitting of a hotel of this caliber. The staff were always very accommodating during our stay. After we got home, we realized we left a jacket in the wardrobe, and they mailed it back to us. There were some protests in the square across the road during our stay, and the staff did their best to help us stay safe by recommending routes or areas to avoid. The service was truly exceptional, we'll definitely be staying here when we visit Athens again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel in Athens! The service was exceptional from start to finish. We loved the historic charm of the Presidential Suite—such a beautiful room. The butler service was incredibly hospitable, especially to our children, which made our stay even more special. Above all, they went above and beyond by helping us fix our luggage on very short notice and after hours to ensure we were ready for our trip the next morning. The rooftop restaurant was excellent, with delicious Greek wine and stunning views. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens!

The hotel is solid overall, but a bit dated. The highlight was definitely the view. If you’re willing to spring for it, the acropolis view is incredible, especially when it’s lit up at night. Other than that, the rooms are well maintained, though dated. Soundproofing to the outside is very good, though Syntagma Square can be really loud at night and audible in the room (so bring earplugs if you’re very sensitive to noise!). The service is fine, but seems more in line with a four, rather than five, star hotel. The breakfast was lovely, though the food and drink at the restaurants and bars were just okay.
