A superb hotel. Rooms were spotlessly clean. The location couldn't have been better. (2 minutes from the station & Shinkansen). But the service was truly excellent. I had a last minute cancellation at another hotel and The Gran Via found me a room very quickly with no fuss.
Friendly staff. A staff helped me press the elevator button. Free bottled water is much appreciated. Convenient location next to Okayama station with lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Free mindfulness yoga sessions every morning 7:30am-8:15am. There’s one electrical outlet on the desk to charge devices, one behind the TV, and one in the corner. Free newspaper delivered daily outside your door.
Very conveniently located. Quick Check-in. Well sized rooms. Quiet AC. Super friendly staff. Quick elevators. Working iron. The view from the room down to the shinkansen station was superb. Please enjoy either your dinner or breakfast while watching the trains leave and arrive :)
