Hotel Grimsborgir by Keahotels

Had an absolutely wonderful time here during our 4 night stay! Location: 5/5 Yes, it is a bit away from major attractions, but it is a central location! We rented a car (which honestly is the best thing) and we were able to drive and see the major waterfalls, beaches, and even the famous plane wreck. It is also 15 minutes from a city center with a grocery story and lots of restaurants. Rooms: 5/5 Compliments to the housekeeping staff! Rooms were cleaned very well and made neatly everyday. Had good space, with a balcony, and the neatness made it feel so much more perfect. Breakfast: 5/5 Lots of options - has something for everyone. Staff: 5/5 The restaurant staff is truly wonderful. They were always tending to guests, maintaining the space, and consistently ensuring all was well. The front desk staff was helpful as well giving us restaurant recommendations too! Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

We stayed for one night after completing the Golden Circle route. Room was great, loved the door to the outside in the room. The breakfast was great! Lots of variety! The only thing we did not like is that every other room had outside patio furniture except for us...not sure why, but would have liked that. Also, just to know there are a lot of flies outside, but it's do-able.

This was the best value hotel we stayed at on our trip to Iceland. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Only one level so no one above you. The free breakfast was very good in comparison to other hotels. Would stay here again!
