Hotel Grossfeld

We stayed here for two nights and loved it! Our son had fun at the vintage bowling alley, collected many ducks from the arcade room, and enjoyed the private (we were lucky it was empty) indoor swimming pool. Commendable on the cleaning as the place was spotless and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve ever had! Very relaxing place with a lot of history.

The hotel is good, the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is several separate buildings between them, if it is raining will have to prevent this. Breakfast is in the main building where the reception is. The breakfast is good. The rooms are very very large and comfortable. An interesting thing is the fact that the toilet is separate from the shower. Liked it

Stayed in 2001. Long term in wonderfully large suite. Then the hotel told me move to a different hotel for 2 nights as room was to be used by regular customer. I packed as requested and went to reception at 7am with my case only to be told that no such request had been made. I returned to my suite, unpacked and went to work. After work I went to my room to find young girl in it. The hotel had thrown my belongings into my case and proceeded to shout at me fie not moving out. Badly organised and two faced staff who denied I had taken my case to reception early in the morning. This is very common in this hotel as others on the same project were told to move to different hotels to make way for regular guests at various times. In the end our whole project team moved out. Very bad customer service.
