Hotel Gótico

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and was truly impressed with the entire experience. From the moment I arrived, everything was top-notch—the rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and clearly maintained with great attention to detail. It made my stay incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. The staff was equally outstanding. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and welcoming. A special shoutout to the Jamaican gentleman at the front desk—his warm demeanor and genuine hospitality really stood out. He went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued guest. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I’m looking forward to returning in the future and will absolutely be recommending this hotel to others. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Great location and lovely place to stay. There was some road construction going on close by when we stayed but little impact and won’t last for ever. Staff were really helpful and nothing too much trouble. Even took our case to the taxi that had to stop 100 yards away due to the work outside. Handy for the underground train but also only a 10 minute walk to the harbour or 5 minutes to La Rambla and 2 minutes to the Cathedral. Quiet little sun trap on the roof to chill after a day sight seeing. Would definitely return again.

This is supposedly a four star hotel. It does not have lotion, tissues, or a functioning shower head (it kept falling down/would tilt away from you when turned on). The final issue is while they do have a rooftop they close it at 9pm which isn’t even late enough to catch the sunset. If you do the math that’s a 0 star hotel. Overall my stay was ok, but not a four star hotel!!! Edit: the hotel responded and is claiming these items are available at the reception. They are not because I went and asked. Lying is not good for business. When I asked for tissues the front desk said they had napkins.
