Accommodation was nice. Staff were professional and approachable. I like the lobby area overlooking the bay especially when you're into some peace and quiet for a while. Gym was small but it has most of the equipments needed in it. I prefer the bay view rooms than the ones with aquariums or Aqua rooms because, personally, it would have made me feel claustrophobic without an outdoor view. But that's just me. Others prefer the Aqua rooms though.
I had high expectations for this hotel and was somewhat disappointed. It took about 20 minutes to check in because the line was long and there are only 2 desk clerks. The room I had has an amazing view of the bay and bed is comfy. What I didn't like is the bathroom. Not the best privacy because the doors are frosted glass that you can still see into. For a newer hotel I wasn't expecting the shower and toilet to share the same floor. The pictures the Hotel took did a good job of hiding that fact. And there isn't much temperature adjustment for the shower - basically a cold shower. In terms of restaurants, they seem to be only open when the Ocean Park is open. We went to the ground floor on a Wednesday before 7pm and EVERYTHING was closed. There isn't really anything in walking distance for food. I, along with other guests, had to get food delivered from Grab. There is a refrigerator in the room but ours was broken. Maintenance just unplugged and plugged it back it. After that it turned on but didn't get cold at all. This wasn't the worst stay, but I don't think I would book again.
Excellent service! Friendly staff! Just two things: 1) Room: We experienced hearing some unusual noises overnight coming from the ceiling access panel, which made it hard for us to get comfortable sleep. We're not sure if it was a fan, a water leak, or something else. I've attached the video. But overall, the room was very nice and clean, and the bed was very comfy. 2) Location: There were long walks in the hallway from the lobby to our designated room. But still, they have very friendly, kind, and caring staff.
