Great lodging option at this wonderful zone
The place is amazing with great history and landscape. It is a must see when you are in the area. The downside of it is the hotel portion. Rooms are spacious but there is no TV, no chimney in some rooms and no hot water (at least if you like to take showers that last longer than 5 minutes). The service needs a good improvement. They are not rude but they don't offer to help as you would expect from hotel personnel.
The worst experience ever. We went there for a wedding. First of all the rooms are advertised with even pictures where they have ceramic floor, but when you get there the rooms have rugs, and very old and dirty ones. They changed us to another room but it had spiders, roaches, mosquitos and other bugs I do not even recognize. On the night of the wedding reception, we were on a Field next to a river and By the time they started serving dinner people started yelling and standing By their tables because tarantulas were on our feet, coming out of their holes, I personally killed one and saw two more. By that time I decided to leave the reception and go to my room, but the nightmare did not stop. During the night some of the people who were waiting to disassembling the wedding furniture and dance floor, were sleeping just outside our room, they were like 9 persons making sounds, smoking, laughing it was really noisy and annoying. We reported it to the front desk and they came an hour later to ask they to stop but they never did, the noise just became louder, since trucks were entering just outside of our window, we couldn’t catch our sleep, all night. When we went to the front desk again they told us there was nothing to do, that bugs are always in the hotel premises since it is an old hotel which has nature all around and the noise could not stop because they had to pick up all wedding furniture. The best they could offer was that By making a reservation in the hotel again and paying one night they would give me one night for free. Of course I told them I am never coming back.
