I had an amazing experience at Hotel Harshikhar in Bhimtal! The location is breathtaking, offering stunning views of the lake and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing the perfect balance of comfort and elegance. The staff was exceptionally courteous and always ready to assist with a smile. The food was delicious, with a great variety of dishes to choose from. The ambiance of the hotel, combined with the beautiful natural surroundings, made my stay truly memorable. Honest Review – Please Read Before Booking I stayed at this hotel for two days and am sharing my genuine experience because, like many others, we spend our hard-earned money expecting hospitality, comfort, and a memorable vacation. I urge anyone considering this hotel to read this before making a decision. ⭐ Positives: • Excellent Location – Very convenient and accessible. • Daily Car Wash – A thoughtful touch for those traveling by car. • Good Food – The meals were tasty and satisfying. • Kitchen Staff – Exceptionally humble, courteous, and helpful. ❌ Negatives (Which Overshadowed the Positives): • Poor Housekeeping – A major letdown. Basic amenities like towels and an iron had to be requested multiple times, only to be met with questions like “Why do you need it?” That’s unacceptable for a hotel of any standard. • Unhelpful Attitude – We were told they had only one iron (in use), and we could pay to get clothes ironed. Similarly, asking for extra towels felt like asking for a favor. • Extra Bed Disappointment – We paid for an extra bed but received only a thin mattress on the floor. Not only was it uncomfortable, but there were also small insects crawling around – unacceptable, especially with kids. • Lack of Proper Sleeping Arrangements – No cot, no sofa-cum-bed. Just a mattress. • Inappropriate Staff Conduct – Staff, including waiters and cleaners, shared lifts with guests. As a parent of a teenage daughter, this made me uncomfortable. Professional hotels manage guest and staff movement separately for a reason. • Disruptive Noise – Cleaning staff would play loud music on TVs while working, with no regard for guests resting in adjoining rooms. • Management Apathy – Despite bringing up these concerns, the manager showed zero involvement or interest in addressing them. Final Verdict: Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives. This hotel fell short in delivering even the basic standards of hospitality. I will not return and do not recommend this hotel to others

Just checked in from Heena tours and travels to this property and the rooms are pathetic, poorly maintained and not clean at all! The walls are leaking of water and the ac blinds are broken, the bathrooms were wet and used towels were kept! We found so much dust and garbage below the bed! Attaching few pictures for you to see? 1 star hotel in the name of 3 star hotel!! Looks can deceive all of you! In real it's really worst! Would not recommend anyone!
