Great stay at this hotel! Small hotel with great staff who were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a small issue with the room upon check-in but staff fixed it immediately and all was good. Breakfast was good and I recommend including it as there isn't anywhere very close by for breakfast otherwise(if you are walking). We also enjoyed dinner and drinks in the restaurant. Location is good (we specifically wanted to be in Essen-Borbeck) though it is a bit of a walk from Essen-Borbeck Bhf. There is a bus you can take though or a taxi and there is parking if you are driving. Staff was very helpful in arranging a taxi for us on departure day. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again myself.

Small but well maintained. Lost my key but they were super flexible and friendly about it and even gave me an upgrade. Highly recommend.

I loved staying here for a few nights! The neighbourhood is beautiful and the hotel has a charming garden area surrounding it. 🌼Would've loved to spend more time there! Our room had everything necessary in it and I found it quite lovely even though some might describe the decoration old fashion. We didn't eat anything at the hotel so I have no comments on the food, but there was a mini fridge in the room.🧃 The staff didn't understand English well but they were SO friendly and lovely that it didn't matter! ☺️ There is a bus stop right next to the hotel which was great for us as we were moving around with public transport instead of a car.🚎
