Nice hotel , simple clean rooms, lobby area very nice. Reception stuff so, so one day receptionist male was very nice and friendly the other day lady at the reception was a bit rude .
I stayed here Oct 2024. The hotel is conveniently located near HHW station, just a short walk. At first glance the hotel looked ok, until you enter the halway leading to the rooms, it's tacky, dark and resembled a tacky cheap knocking shop. The rooms are old, well past their best and in urgently in need of a refit. I wouldn't stay here again.
I was accomodated here for work trip three times. Hotel is nice, very good location. Seen from headway as you arrive from Amsterdam. Nice rooms, just check/ask about equipment. Common spaces, of course, are air conditioned. It could seem a bit noisy for some people, it is approx one km from center of Heerhugowaard, a train station is few dozens of meters from here, a headway from and to town is next to hotel. But in the other hand, everything for travelling, shopping, eating and drinking is at eyesight. And still, you can use foam earplugs 😆😉. I have just small overview of prices of accommodation around here, seems that 80-120 € / night / person is average. In Slovakia you would have a class- or two higher, But it is not quite proper to compare. Personnel kind, professional. … After few days I decided to change the review. 1-when you want to take a beer in restaurant, you are waiting approximately half hour till they bring it. Experienced more than once. 2-Fourth day we came back from work into the hotel and the door of colleague’s room was open. How it should happen? We have valuable things, money, etc. there, This is unacceptable! 3-Bins aren’t changed daily 4-I let empty bottle of shower gel laying on the bathroom board. Close to edge, to be evident signal it needs to be replaced. As I let it, as I found it. 5-The noise of seagulls is really annoying. Even with foam earplugs. Better when balcony door closed. But then air and temperature in room quickly degrade. It’s getting worse.
