Hotel Hegsagone Marine Asia

The hotel is good. Rooms are spacious, although not new. Towels, sheet, toilets etc. were clean. The service was very good especially during the breakfast. However, the breakfast options were very limited for four stars hotel. The thing that upsets me is that there was no toaster to roast the bread, or tissues on tables or anywhere. In addition, when we arrived (my family & I) by car, the porter did not greet us or take our luggage up to the rooms, so we had to carry them by ourselves. One of the things I did not like that despite being a four star hotel that offers a restaurant, bar and outdoor swimming pool, unfortunately it doesn't have a fitness centre. As for the location, it is beautiful walkway overlooking the sea, but it is far from everything related to Istanbul, whether the Asian or European part, so you need a car to travel around. Moreover, there are not too many markets or restaurants near by, so you have to use a car and go to the nearest area that provides these services.

Been there for over 200 nights in the past 2 and half years but WILL NOT GO again. When I arrive in late novermber at 3 in the night the room window was on the the heating did not work in the room, next day I asked at the reception for the problem to be solved, but that night I froze. Did not eat any dinner or breakfast but they still asked for it to be paid in full. But the most disturbing was that I was late for check out because my mum was discharged from hospital a bit later than expected and they charged 52€ for delay of check out!
