Perfect Wellness Weekend! Everything is perfect. Of course, the nice weather helped, but what a hotel. Wonderful wellness area, very nice staff, spacious room with comfy beds and super clean. The meals, the breakfast fulfill high expectations. All parts of them are carefully prepared and with fresh ingredients and high attention to details. Even the smoked salmon at the breakfast is home made. There is a short but very beautiful hike on the Kaienspitz at 1-1.5 hours from the hotel. I will definitely come back.
Beautiful hotel in Heiden – relaxing stay with great food and lovely staff My partner and I spent a weekend at this beautiful hotel in Heiden and overall had a really lovely stay. The hotel and its surroundings are charming and peaceful — perfect for a short wellness break. The breakfast was outstanding: generous, delicious, and made with very fresh ingredients. We also loved that there was free tea and fresh fruit available throughout the day — such a thoughtful touch that really added to the experience. The staff was another highlight: incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Their warm hospitality made us feel very welcome. The rooms were clean, bright, and comfortable, and the spa area was calm and relaxing — just what you need to unwind. That said, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve: 1. No fridge in the room – There’s no minibar or fridge, which becomes an issue especially in Heiden, where dining options are limited. On Sundays, when everything is closed, it would be useful to store a few groceries or drinks — but without a fridge, that’s not possible. 2. Unclear spa routine and limited replacements – You receive a bag with spa supplies (bathrobe, towel, slippers), but they are not refreshed the next day unless you specifically ask. After swimming or using the sauna, your items are damp or even soaked, and they don’t dry properly overnight in the room. It would be more comfortable and hygienic to offer fresh items daily without needing to ask. 3. No fresh towels in the spa area – This was the biggest downside. After using the steam room or sauna, towels are often soaked — especially in the textile-free zones. Unfortunately, there are no fresh towels available in the spa itself, and it feels like guests are expected to use only what was initially given. While the staff will provide more if you ask, there should be a self-service point with clean towels at all times. It’s standard in most wellness hotels and would make a big difference. Despite these points, we genuinely enjoyed our stay. The atmosphere, staff, and amenities created a lovely weekend. With just a few small adjustments, this hotel in Heiden could offer an even more seamless and luxurious wellness experience.
The room and its view were really beautiful, the spa and massage very nice and the food was amazing. ☺️ Sadly the steam-sauna was out of order, however we just spent some more time in the outside whirlpool, which is a delight by minus temperatures. 😎 Don't try the caramel sweets with ginger, they are just wrong, however the other are great! 😜 The personal is amazing and always helpful. The price, considering the location is a bit steep, however its well worth it. 😊
