Hotel Helios

The hotel is perfectly located right on the beach, offering beautiful views and easy access to the sea. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend booking a room on the first floor with a terrace overlooking the bay — it's a fantastic way to start and end your day. The room was spacious, equipped with both a ceiling fan and air conditioning, and was cleaned twice daily, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was fresh and tasty . A perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. We'd definitely come back

There is no better location + pool + sea access than this hotel. The pool is as amazing as it looks in the photos, and the lounge area along the sea with steps into the water is amazing. Helios is perfectly situated for walking into the bustling town, yet quiet at night with just enough distance from the town's noise. We had a room with a patio overlooking the sea and the patio was huge, and the views were stellar. The front desk staff were very helpful, and the rooms were cleaned 2x/day. The entire hotel is dated and needs and upgrade, but you get used to it quickly because the location, the pool setup and the cleanliness win out over the outdated decor. The bartenders and breakfast staff are a bit surly. Perhaps it was a language barrier issue, but again, the front desk staff helped us daily with reservations, plans, maps and info on how to get the most out of our time in Santa Margherita.

This is a charming older hotel with an unbeatable waterfront location and proximity to the train station. The water view rooms have a lovely view of the water and is so close to the water, you can hear the lapping waves. Rooms are immaculately made twice a day. Front desk is friendly and helpful. The breakfast room also had a gorgeous view.
