Hotel Hendricks

I booked this hotel for a family holiday spending 5 nights in Manhattan. Whilst we wanted to be in midtown, we didn’t want Times Square or anywhere noisy. Hendricks is on a quiet road only 10 minutes walk to Times Square and 5 minutes to various subway stations. The rooms are average size for the area but very smart and clean. Showers are powerful and beds comfortable, we all slept well each night with no intrusive noises. The view from the roof top bar takes your breath away. The service was excellent and we felt very safe a well looked after.

My stay with Hotel Hendricks was nothing short of spectacular. My friend and I were immediately welcomed by the warm aesthetic of the hotel and kind staff at the front desk. The view from my room had an up close look of the Empire State Building and downtown Manhattan. The room size was perfect and I slept excellent every night. Would happily recommend this place to everyone!

I flew into New York and had a reservation at another hotel, when I went to check in, I had found out that hotel was having issues and could no longer honor my reservation. I had booked through Expedia, so they helped relocate me and I ended up at the Hotel Hendricks a few blocks away. This hotel ended up being actually less expensive than the original hotel I had booked and wow what a surprise. I stay in New York often at least once a month. Because of that…my work in the garment district, I’m always looking for a hotel in this area that’s clean affordable and comfortable. I can tell you I will be back; one of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve ever been in …wonderful view of the Empire State Building, lovely staff, and I can’t tell you how important this is ,but a super comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower. I absolutely will be back. I’ve been coming here for eight years. This is my first time at this hotel and I can tell you I am going to be a regular :-) unfortunately because my meetings ran too late. I was not able to enjoy the rooftop deck, but I definitely will on my next trip. Great vibe. Yes the rooms are small but this is New York that’s to be expected, but I had plenty of room for all of my suitcases. A great desk to work on with wonderful views. Also, this is removed enough from the chaos of Time Square, but still walkable to everything. I will be putting the same review on Expedia.
