For the third year I have come to the Heselbacher Hof for days of relaxation and wonderful food. The hiking path go in all directions and bring me back to a gourmet meal at the end of the day. The staff is always there to insure a wonderful time. The spa facilities are so perfect, you might never leave the building. The new outside pool lets you swim and talk to the cows in the meadows at the same time. I will go there again, when I am in Germany next year. It's a must ! Due to a delay with our flight from Dubrovnik we did not arrive until 11 PM. Mr. Schneider was so kind to wait for us to let us in. We were so grateful at the end of a long day. K Joye

Place is nice with a few remarks... bed is extremely uncomfortable, rooms are relatively small and spa is small too.. food at the restaurant is very good 👍 spa treatments are also very good.

The hotel itself is nice - at the one or other place a bit outdated, however, that is more or less what you expect already from such a wellness hotel in the middle of nowhere. The really disappointing part was the checkout. They accepted only cash or something what they called EZ card?! They didn’t accept the normal credit cards like Visa or MasterCard. At the beginning, I thought it was a joke - but the lady was serious! (She explained us, that their usual guest is German, above 60, and therefore normally using cash - fair enough, but what about the guest who are not from Germany?!) After some discussion, the only option they gave us was to drive with the taxi to the next ATM to get cash money… (which costed us including taxi bill and fees more than 100 USD!) I was really shocked about such conservative payment methods. Guys, we are living in the 21st century and you still accept only cash?! To all future visitors: Expect a time travel back to the 20st century ;-)
