Hotel Hindenburglinde

Our stay was way above our expectations!!! It was our first stay in this hotel and we came here for the Christmas holidays. This hotel has everything what you need for a family stay: a great family friendly wellness area with heated pool and family sauna. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The food was so delicious with a huge variety on the breakfast buffet and a very tasty evening board. The kids menu had lots of options. The food was served on time and the staff members were super friendly, always very supportive. All the hiking areas are nearby: Hintersee was walking distance, same the Klausbachtal. Same with the skiing areas like Hochschwarzeck and Taubensee. And the view was breathtaking! You have an amazing view to the Hochkalter and Watzmann with a direct view of the sunset. The only thing what I missed, which was probably due to the season, was the missing international customer base. We would love to come back again! Thank you, Family Resch & Staff 🥰 for making our stay unforgettable !!!

Awesome stay 🤩 First of all, let’s talk about the view from our balcony. Breathtaking view of the Hochkalter and the Watzmann. Hiking destinations are very close to the hotel like the Hintersee and Klausbachtal. Second of all, the food. There were ton of delicious options on the normal menu as well as the kids menu. Therefore the variety if vegetarian food could have been more. The staff members were really kind and supportive. The amount of international guests could have been more. The rooms are really clean and comfy the beds therefore, could have been more comfortable but other than that the room was very nice. The spa department was clean and the view from the pool was also astonishing, directly seeing the famous Watzmann. All in all we thank family Resch and all the staff members that made auf vacation to Berchtesgaden much more enjoyable 😍

Incredibly unfriendly staff. We were really looking forward to spending two nights here as it looks like a beautiful establishment. We submitted a reservation request for two nights and the hotel responded back with an offer for different nights - I thought perhaps I had gotten the dates mixed up so messaged back: hey maybe there’s a typo - these are the dates we’re looking for! The hotel “revised” the offer, changed the room and updated the dates in the attachment. We were excited! However, when I received the confirmation the dates were wrong. When I called the front desk was wildly impolite, frustrated that they had to correct ME twice (I’m sorry, but if I choose the dates I’m right and you’re wrong), and when I mentioned that sending two offers with the wrong dates was both confusing and disingenuous the gentleman was so rude that I question whether or not he should be in the hospitality industry. Truly a disappointing experience. Furthermore, this experience leads me to believe they were deliberately trying to trick me into booking the wrong dates… if you send a reply to my correction with a “revised” offer that is still incorrect that seems wildly disingenuous. What a disappointing experience.
