Hotel Hirschen in Freiburg Lehen

If six stars could be awarded then this hotel deserves seven. Firstly the hotel staff are incredible, friendly and helpfull. They went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The location is on a beautiful and quite street just a few minutes walk away from the tram that will take you straight into the center of town. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are spotlessly clean, bright and airy. The beds are so comfy. There is a very chill bar indoors and a tree covered outdoor dining and drinking area that we adored. To sum up, of the many hotels I've ever stayed at, this one is my highest rated.

If we could give 6 stars to a hotel ,/ restaurant we would award them to this one. Everything was just perfect. The restaurant and wine list are easily worth Michelin stars. The room was spotless and the staff welcome warm, generous, and helpful. We will return. Sylvia and Matthew BURNETT

Great swimming pool and breakfast, good parking, good wifi, quiet, clean, dog friendly. Minus: for the price and the advertised "4 stars", one could have expected a newer bed (was creaking noisily at every move), better electrical fixtures (the only one socket near my side of the bed was hidden behind the furniture, which you had to move to access it, AND at floor level), plus the AC was blocked on automatic and could not be made colder, only warmer for some minutes, before going back on auto.
