Hotel Hirzer 2781

Probably best hotel experience of my life! Excellent service, staff, cleanliness etc… The view is incredible overlooking the region. The fresh air of being in nature is so refreshing. The heated pool during the winter with the different themed sauna rooms were deeply relaxing. Would recommend a million times!! 🤩 Definitely visiting again soon.

I'm overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff. I'm vegan and the kitchen does absolutely everything to ensure I'm enjoying my food. The room's very nice as well and the spa is extremely relaxing. Can't recommend Hotel Hirzer highly enough.

This review is a bit overdue but I finally have time to write it and post it as it was important to me to share our wonderful experience. The short review is: THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! My wife and I had the honor of being the very first Canadians to stay at the award winning Hotel Hirzer 2781 back in June 2024. After searching around on google maps for places to stay in the Dolomites along the route we were traveling while in Italy, I found this hotel. What caught my eye first were the stunning rooms and the overall vibe of the hotel. Then I saw the review score on google and read through the reviews and instantly booked the our stay. We planned on staying for one night and then moving on to our next destination. Let me tell you, when we arrived we were just blown away at the quality and coziness of the place. The decor feels perfect for the location in the mountains. This is a fully family run hotel and it was apparent right from our greeting at the front desk that this beautiful family is dedicated to making your stay with them top notch and luxurious. They were extremely personable and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I want to make it clear that they are professionally trained in hospitality and the way the hotel is run shows it. This is not some hotel in the middle of nowhere run by a family that does not know what they are doing. This is a masterclass in hotel management and professionalism BUT BUT BUT, with the coziness and friendliness feel of staying with family. It’s so perfectly balanced it’s hard to describe. Our half board stay included breakfast and dinner and we were assigned a table in the dinning room by the windows with a beautiful view of the immaculately kept grounds and pool. And what a pool it is!! We only wish it that we had time to use it. The grounds around this hotel had beautiful flower beds and plants which i believe were personally attended to by Evelyn and the family themselves. The food in the restaurant was AMAZING. The service was AMAZING and our server took the time to get to know us and asked friendly questions about where we were from and our trip so far. The dinning room was clean and fresh with options to eat indoors or outdoors. We ate dinner and had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and every meal we eat had fantastic selection with equally fantastic wine choices. The food was perfectly presented like little works of art on the plate. The room we stayed in was designer decorated, immaculate, spotless, stylish and elegant. It was huge but cozy. And that view!! Omg, that view was stunning and breathtaking. we were greater with a beautiful plate of fresh fruit and a personalized welcome note. The room had everything you needed for a perfect night stay. The peaceful and quietness of staying in the mountains here will always stay with us. Our three week trip though northern Italy had us traveling around a lot to cover a lot of ground with a well planned and tight schedule of places we wanted to see. We LOVED our stay at this hotel so much that we rearranged our schedule so we could spend a SECOND night here and truly enjoy the relaxation we felt from the moment we arrived. There is plenty of activities to do in this area. We went to the cable car close by and rode up a mountain to have tea in a wondrous setting amongst the Italian alps. We also had a fun time on a mountain toboggan ride (our forst ever) at the Alpin Bob Meran 2000. Such a great time. If you find yourself in South Tyrol or in the Hafling area do not hesitate to book at least one night at Hotel Hirzer 2781 but I would highly recommend two nights or more. The summer here is beautiful. If we can find the time to get back here one day we would not think twice about staying here again so we could have the feeling of staying with family again in such a beautiful setting.
