Hotel Holiday Sul Lago

Lovely hotel, managed by a very kind team, with well maintained, classically furnished rooms, equipped with real and very well functioning airco which is switched on immediately on request to the front desk e.g. once a day (sensible solution when considering costs), but operated from within the room. Excellent beds. Nice pool and flowered garden, with kind service at the poolbar. The lake just in front. On quiet, dead-end street only servicing a camping and some houses further on. Minutes walking or cycling from the Bolsena waterfront and beaches. Very kind staff, excellent breakfast and restaurant! One of our most relaxing holidays (13 nights) since long!

Quality hotel with a pool and restaurant and fantastic views of the lake, the reason you have come to Bolsena in the first place.

I booked a Superior Deluxe room with a lake view for €150, but the hotel canceled my reservation due to an issue and moved me to a nearby hotel. While the new hotel looked nicer, I was placed in a room that costs €123, not what I originally booked. If I wanted a cheaper room, I would’ve booked one myself. The new hotel was more expensive, and I wasn’t reimbursed for the difference. The only compensation was not paying the €9 city tax, but overall, I didn’t feel satisfied with how it was handled.
