Hotel Hollweger

Very nice place to stay… a bit oldfashioned but still sympatic…. The food was very good and the weitres Pablo way very kind 🙌

This is a lovely, secluded hotel, not far from the centre of St. Gilgen and only a short walk to the lake shore. It is a relatively small, family-owned hotel with delicious, varied and generous cuisine and very comfortable, large rooms, affording one excellent views over the lake, mountains and vineyards. It is an oasis of peace and quiet, nice terrace and well maintained lawns; attentive and discreet personnel; excellent facilities (swimming pool; boat house and bathing place on the lake; wellness centre and a well attended bar) and, throughout, excellent customer service. We spent a wonderful week (a holiday booked with TUI) and would happily return. Highly recommended a place for those how need a base to explore an activity-rich area (hiking, cycling, swimming), but also full of history/culture.

Family owned and run hotel. Warm reception, excellent breakfasts, spacious and comfortable rooms, lovely garden and view over town and lake. Stayed there with friends, one of whom said that for the first time in many, many years, he felt like just staying on indefinitely in a hotel. This is a good place....
