What a cool hotel! This was the first place I stayed in Iceland and I loved it. The rooms were really comfortable, and I loved the classic style of this hotel in the communal spaces. Parking was a little tricky but doable. The location is very central and it was easy to walk to lots of interesting places, including an incredible bakery in the morning for pastries and coffee. The staff were excellent and made me feel very welcomed to Reykjavik. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
This is a gem. The artwork is everywhere and fantastic. The hotel itself is very comfortable, with lots of common space to lounge. The breakfast is excellent. It's very quiet, on a neighborhood street, yet less than 10 minutes to walk to many restaurants and the main sights of the city.
I had a lovely stay here. I felt very welcomed. The staff were helpful and kind, willing to answer my questions. I was able to walk everywhere I needed to from my hotel. Quick access to the church, rainbow street, shopping and restaurants. My room was spacious and comfortable. I really enjoyed the breakfast every morning, I highly recommend adding this to your stay package.
