Hotel Horitzó by Pierre & Vacances

The rooms are big and clean, we also have a bathtub in the room that I booked and a balcony. There is a spa and a gym where in a small swimming pool that you need to pay extra, there is a restaurant in the hotel and serves breakfast. The location was really promising, it is directly in the public beach where in you just have to jump in and thats it. Local restaurants and shops are also available.

This is definitely more of a 3 star budget hotel. There’s pros and cons. Cons: dated rooms badly in need of upgrade. Poor ventilation in bathroom. Strange window in bathroom that opens to interior of building and connects to neighboring room. Room phone didn’t work. Room felt like a dorm. Location is decent but a 5 minute walk north is a more ideal area. No bar or restaurant service between 10 am and noon. Breakfast ends early at 10 am. Can hear constant furniture moving various times of day. Early morning, mid day, afternoon. Pros: The mattress is one of the most comfortable hotel mattress’s I’ve ever slept on. Honestly I slept so good. Nice combination of soft and firm. Other than furniture in upper floors being moved, room was so quit. The patio door and the room door are solid. You can’t hear anything from the road or the hallway. Thankfully the pros are really the most important aspects of a hotel. It made up for what’s lacking.

Its so far far away from 4*hotel. Room looks like dormitor, empty and cheep. No normal wardrobe. Its funny that kids not allowed to swimming pool!Adults only area, and even this one is not free..Come on, for so sad hotel, even spa is 15 eur per time per adult..Beach towels for rent 8 eur..Its better to avoid this place, especially if looking for really nice and comfortable place with kids.
