This hotel even it was built in 1995 conveys perfectly spirit of the Interbellum when Santander was the summer residence of Spanish royal family. Located to the closest proximity to El Sardinero beach the place offers service of well trained staff and excellent views across the Bay. This place may be more suitable for rather mature customers than for young bunch of surfers, but that was not a problem for me. Overall, nice place to stay, and minor fails can not disrupt the atmosphere of quite elegance.
Good rooms with large bathroom. Clean and tidy. Parking is very expensive!!. Kebab shop opposite and a short walk to the beach
This hotel is in a great location, short walk to the beach and restaurants. The building and especially the rooms are very outdated. The hotel looked clean, the bathrooms in the rooms were updated maybe 10+ years ago but not the rooms. Flooring, beds and related furniture has definitely seen better years. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I would also say that the breakfast buffet needs to be slightly improved as well. We only ate there the first morning and went elsewhere the other days. The owners need to seriously reinvest in this property like their sister hotel across the street the Grand Hotel Sardinero. We were able to find street parking outside the hotel at no cost.
