You get what you pay for. Looks like a filming set from the “That 70s show” tv series. We pay 100 euros for 1 night for a family of 4, we needed to be as close as possible to the airport, thanks to a change of schedule by the airline to a really early hour, but we didn’t wanted to spend 400 euros in a hotel night, actually for just a couple of hours. Check-in was a breeze, check-out at 4am was even more efficient, parking in the property and as we didn’t even needed their restaurant facilities, can’t comment on this. So, it was a really low price that we paid, and we expected a return according to that. Don’t expect nothing fancy or modern, expect a cheap wore down hotel, and pay accordingly.

Disgusting old dirty hotel. The pool became a stinky swamp. Smoky rooms. Very poor breakfast. Not even remotely a 4-star hotel.

We booked your hotel on good faith via Booking.com. We were traveling around Bari and reached your hotel around 11:00 p.m. Happy to liaise with your reception staff and check in. Man and Lady were processing our information and allocated 5 individual rooms. There after they told us that the air-conditioning was not working. Subsequently transpired that it was a policy that they would not have air conditioning. And by law it was acceptable to not provide that service. The attitude at the time was very dogmatic and they were not prepared understand our reasoning and the booking details. Particularly the lady who couldn't care less and had walked off from the reception area. They were more keen to cancel our reservation at no cost - was all we could hear, clearly no interest of loyalty to the Hotel's business. To note we were extremely tired as we had travelled from Santa Maria to Bari. We proceeded to our rooms on 7th floor. We found the rooms baking hot and uncomfortable. We approached the two reception staff. The man (Gason) was dismissive kept saying you can cancel at no cost. The lady was dressed and ready to go home. As earlier she was adamant not to anything else except that it was policy that there was no air condition available. We showed her extract from the website (see attached pic)....... then she made a phone call to someone and reluctantly said she will switch on the air conditioning for 2 rooms. We insisted that all 5 rooms should be switched on as per our booking via Booking.com. Then in disgust she did and walked away to go home. Also to note the all 5 rooms were smelly, had to leave the balcony door open so traffic noise, shower inadequate pressure. 2 of 5 toiletsnot working adequately, flush remained trickling all night. Terrace area poorly maintained, flaky paints, cement and no furniture! Pretty much an extremely poor performance from Hotel HR and the Lady Receptionist. This was a very stressful and disappointing for us at that time of the night. We went to sleep after telling our friends that air condition is available to be switched on. However within 10 to 15 minutes it switched off and tried to call the Reception BUT no ANSWER! The whole experience has caused us a lot of discomfort, dissatisfaction stress leaving a bitter feeling of our much loved holiday in Italy. We anticipate that you will address all our points as above, put right the attitude of the Lady Receptionist, provide paid services etc. We shall be reporting this to the Italian Tourism industry - italia.it@ministeroturismo.gov.it and Booking.com The only amicable solution is that you process a FULL refund. Furthermore ensure that your guests offered full services as advertised and paid for.
