Hotel Hyundai by Lahan Ulsan

First visit here and it was great. Hotel itself has a lovely reception and a welcoming feel, even if you arrive late at night. The rooms are large and spacious and have everything you can think of, even down to the smallest details of complimentary vanity kits in the bathrooms. Fast 5G internet in every room, TV with many channels in different languages and tea/coffee making facilities. Beds are very comfortable. Bathroom spacious - rainfall shower was a great luxury! Free gym access for guests and swimming pool/sauna is available for an additional fee. Breakfast was superb. There was a huge variety of food and it was well stocked every morning. The restaurant (The Tavern) did great food for evening meals; however it is expensive when compared to surrounding restaurants. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and approachable and spoke very good English. Hotel is in a great location: close to the department store, shipyards and a short taxi ride away from the beach. Rooms cleaned daily to a high standard. Based on my recent experience this hotel is definitely worth a visit and I would without a doubt recommend it.

A very nice hotel right next to the Hyundai Department Store and Hyundai Heavy Industries. The rooms are well appointed, the restaurant serves delicious food, the service is wonderful. While some of the staff members understand English, it can be difficult to communicate with the house-keeping and room service staff. Also, the house-keeping staff, in my case, did not bother to clean the disposable contact lenses from earlier. It was lying on wash basin counter for the entire week of my stay. Room 1209.

The location is quite good, 30 minutes to the city centre by bus. The staff is nice and helpful. Unfortunately, when it comes to the rooms, the rating is low, in the first room the air conditioning was leaking from the ceiling, fortunately it did not damage my computer. I was asked to move to the second room and here unfortunately the toilet bowl does not flush and I was again asked to move to the next room because it is not known when it will be fixed.
