Hotel Hélios

Nice, clean and quiet. The bedroom was comfortable and welcoming. Everyone was very helpful. The breakfast is excellent and I noticed a decent GF / DF choice. Logistics to l'ile were also hassle free with the option of arranging car-park and ferry upfront and plenty of info provided.

I had a really poor experience with this hotel. Our apartment (10 Raphael) had a broken door which wasn't fixed. We had to fix a broken wardrobe and install a plug to prevent sewage smells in the main bedroom. We were charged extortionate rates for access to swimming (€166) and a basic steam room (€14/hour) and main reception was rude and uncompromising when I suggested they remove a €60 additional charge for cleaning as a gesture of good will. I was told "bad reviews are not a problem for us" which sums up the attitude of the Hotel staff to basic customer service

Thieves! Beware…. I booked a room for May 31-June 1 thru hotels.com and since last week been trying to cancel my reservation and hotels.com have updated me now that they refused to cancel and refund me. Instead it was cancelled without a refund. Reason for the cancellation was i have a terrible flu and my dog just had her gallbladder removed and is recovering. I have all proof. But still they decided to cancel and keep my 250$ … true definition of greed and theft … even hotels.con apologized saying they tried for the past 3 days to get hold of someone there to cancel and refund and couldn’t get hold of anyone! And then today they got hold of some manager that refused to refund but accepted to cancel!!! No thanks! Terrible terrible hotel.
